It’s Rhyme Time!

Welcome to your It’s Rhyme Time Subscription. This page will give you lots of fun songs and rhymes you can enjoy while using your new puppets and toys. Nursery Rhymes offer a great learning experience for children. Traditional songs and rhymes give children the opportunity to listen to and enjoy the rhythms and intonations of language. and introduces them to vocabulary and numbers. Story telling is an important part of early years learning as it encourages children to listen to and understand the words, and to recall and retell as they join in. All important prerequisites to becoming readers one day. Lots of nursery rhymes have fun actions that can really help develop those gross motor skills and keep them active and moving. There’s also a great social aspect to rhyme time too. Children enjoy the time, whether it’s as part of a group in a childcare environment, or one on one at home. Singing with other people makes us feel connected and happy.
